The invention relates to gypsum-based sound-insulation heat-preservation thick-layer self-leveling mortar which is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 80 to 90 percent of mixed cementing material, 8 to 10 percent of a mineral filler, 0.3 to 3.5 percent of a retarder, 0.8 to 1.3 percent of a rheology modifier, 0.0002 to 0.0005 percent of an active excitant and water. Themixed cementing material is prepared from the following components (by weight): 25 percent of ordinary Portland cement and 65 percent of alpha-hemihydrate gypsum or anhydrite. The mineral filler is vitrified microbeads. The retarder is a gypsum retarder. The rheology modifier is prepared from the following components (by weight): 0.16 to 0.2 percent of an HPMC water reducing agent, 0.1 to 0.15 percent of a defoaming agent, 0.1 to 0.15 percent of cellulose No. 400, and 0.4 to 0.8 percent of redispersible rubber powder. The active excitant is AOS powder. The gypsum-based sound-insulation heat-preservation thick-layer self-leveling mortar of the invention has the following advantages: the density is small, the weight is light, and the self-weight of a high-rise building can be reduced; noisegenerated by impact is consumed through the properties (such as damping) and the structure of the vitrified microbeads, and the sound insulation and heat preservation functions are achieved.
