The invention provides a novel large-span combined arch structure and a construction method thereof. The structural form can be used for a large-span bridge structure and a large-span public arch building structure; with the structure, construction templates and scaffolds can be saved; during construction, a steel structure part is firstly installed, then concrete is directly cast in place on thesteel structure, and formwork erecting and scaffolding are not needed in the construction period of the structure. The steel structure part is directly equivalent to a concrete formwork, so that the construction cost is saved, after the concrete structure reaches the strength, at the moment, the steel structure and the concrete slab on the steel structure form a combined structure to jointly bearlive load, concrete stress and steel structure tension, compared with a concrete structure, the combination can save concrete materials and can be made into a structure with a larger span, and compared with a pure steel structure, the structure can also save steel and can be made into a structure with a larger span.
