The invention discloses a highway solar street lamp system which comprises a plurality of solar street lamp assemblies correspondingly arranged on the two sides of a highway in the extending directionof the highway; each solar street lamp assembly comprises a lamp post, a solar panel, a main lamp box, a pavement lamp box and a cooling and dedusting device; solar energy can be fully utilized through the arrangement of the solar panels, electric energy can be saved through solar power generation, and energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved; through the arrangement of the cooling and dedusting device, water can be sprayed through a spraying head for cooling in hot weather in summer, and meanwhile the effects of dust falling and air purification can be achieved; a waterreceiving groove in the top of a water tank can be used for receiving rainwater to fully utilize resources; by arranging the pavement lamp boxes, the illumination range can be enlarged, and the appearance is more attractive; when on snowy days in winter, high-pressure air outlets can blow snow to the position below a road through a road surface cleaning device arranged in the center of the road; shells of the solar street lamp assemblies are made of carbon fibers and is durable and environmentally friendly.
