The invention discloses a preparation method of an inorganic lightweight aggregate insulation board. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing Portland cement powder, uniformly mixing the Portland cement powder with cellulose and inorganic reinforced fibers to form a powdery mixed material; uniformly mixing water and a water reducing agent to form a liquid mixed material; mixing the powdery mixed material with the liquid mixed material, adding an early strength agent, an anti-freezing agent and a water repellent to obtain viscous composite slurry; mixing expanded perliteand the composite slurry under stirring until the surface of the expanded perlite is uniformly coated with a layer of composite slurry to obtain a light pre-pressed material; pressurizing a lower template and an upper template, compressing to form a plate blank; shaping the plate blank; and carrying out steam-curing in curing equipment to obtain the insulation board. The surface area of the composite slurry coating on the surface of the expanded perlite is increased, the lattice defect roughness is improved, and the self-healing capability is enhanced.
