According to the excavator traveling control system, a flow sensor is arranged between a traveling main valve element and a traveling motor, the flow sensor is electrically connected with a controller, the controller is electrically connected with a pilot valve, the pilot valve is connected to the two ends of the traveling main valve element, when the actual flow detected by the flow sensor is greater than preset flow, the controller controls the pilot valve to reduce pilot pressure so as to reduce the opening degree of the traveling main valve element, and then the actual flow is reduced till the actual flow is not larger than the preset flow. The electric control excavator comprises the excavator traveling control system. The excavator traveling control system can prevent the traveling motor from overspeed, avoid affecting the service life of the motor and reduce potential safety hazards.
