The invention discloses an intelligent fence column assembly. The assembly comprises a supporting piece, wherein one end of the supporting piece is connected with a moving mechanism, an infrared transmitting assembly and an infrared receiving assembly are arranged on the supporting piece, an included angle between the light transmitting direction of the infrared transmitting assembly and the lightreceiving direction of the infrared receiving assembly is phi, phi is larger than 0 degree and smaller than 180 degrees, the infrared transmitting assembly and the infrared receiving assembly are connected with a controller, and the controller is connected with an alarm unit. A traditional fence net needs to hang fences with different lengths from several meters to dozens of meters on supports atintervals of several meters, the number of the needed supports is large, and the traditional fence net is inconvenient to install and carry. The intelligent fence is arranged, the infrared transmitting assembly and the infrared receiving assembly are matched with each other to form a light curtain, the virtual fence is formed, e tedious operation of assembly is reduced, and the alarm unit can actively prompt when the space between the infrared transmitting assembly and the infrared receiving assembly is shielded.
