The invention provides a protective guard for a small-radius curve section of an expressway. The protective guard comprises a supporting column and a guardrail plate. Energy dissipation units are arranged in the length direction of the guardrail plate at intervals; each energy dissipation unit comprises an outer curved surface protection plate, an inner curved surface supporting plate, a compression energy absorption body, a shaping energy absorption plate and an elastic energy dissipation body, wherein the compression energy absorption body is arranged in the center of the outer curved surface protection plate and the inner curved surface supporting plate; the shaping energy absorption plate is arranged around the compression energy absorption body; the elastic energy dissipation body comprises a first elastic body arranged in the width direction of a road and a second elastic body arranged in the trend of the road; two ends of each second elastic body are respectively connected withthe middle parts of two adjacent first elastic bodies; when a vehicle collides with the protective guard at any angle, impact force acts on the outer curved surface protection plate and is dispersed in the compression energy absorption body, the shaping energy absorption plate and the elastic energy dissipation body dissipate energy, the elastic energy dissipation body can decompose the acting force in the road trend and the width direction to achieve energy dissipation in different directions, and therefore the energy dissipation effect is improved, and deformation caused by collision of vehicles and guardrails is reduced.
