The invention discloses a mounting structure for a glass stair LED guardrail system. The mounting structure comprises to-be-protected stairs, protective glass, a guardrail armrest, an armrest fixing assembly for fixing the guardrail armrest without penetrating through the protective glass, an illumination assembly for irradiating the protective glass with light emitted by an LED lamp strip throughthe top surface of the protective glass, and an overhaul sealing plate. The mounting structure has the beneficial effects that the LED lamp strip is arranged in an inner channel formed by the protective glass and the guardrail armrest, and the end of the LED lamp strip is sealed by the overhaul sealing plate; and when the LED lamp strip breaks down, quick replacement of the LED lamp strip can becarried out by only opening the overhaul sealing plate without detaching the guardrail armrest, so that the overhauling work efficiency is greatly improved, the technological process is simplified, the maintenance cost is reduced, and the modern decoration construction concept of environmental protection is accorded with.
