The invention relates to the technical field of stair railings, in particular to a stair guardrail connector and a mounting method thereof.The stair guardrail connector comprises a rotating shaft, two connecting supports, two mounting plates and two locking bolts, the rotating shaft provides mounting conditions for the two connecting supports and the two locking bolts, and when a corner of a stair guardrail needs to be connected, the mounting plates are mounted on the rotating shaft; the two locking bolts are unscrewed, the two connecting supports are rotated, the two mounting plates on the two connecting supports are rotated to a preset angle, then the two mounting plates are connected with the stair guardrail, and finally the two locking screws are tightened towards the side close to the rotating shaft to fix the two connecting supports, so that mounting of the corner of the stair guardrail can be completed. Therefore, the problem that the angle of the stair railing adapter is fixed and cannot be adjusted according to the actual angle of the on-site railing is solved.
