According to the key points of the technical scheme, the installation method comprises the following steps of a,excavation of a foundation pit; b, hole excavation; c, mounting a positioning ring; d, paving cement; e, pipeline connection; f, mounting the fire hydrant; and g, well cover installation. According tothe installation method, the fire hydrant is directly installed in the fire-fighting well, so that the fire hydrant is not easily impacted by the vehicle at ordinary times.
