The invention discloses a using method of an intelligent epidemic prevention closestool. The intelligent epidemic prevention closestool comprises a closestool seat, a flushing bucket, a flushing bucket cover, a closestool upper cover, a closestool lower cover, an automatic water inlet device, a cover closing electric push rod, a flushing device, a disinfection device and a controller. When the closestool is used, the controller controls the cover closing device to push the closestool upper cover to be closed; the flushing device is controlled to flush water, the disinfection device is controlled to pump air in the seat cavity of the toilet seat to the disinfection device for sterilization and disinfection, the sterilized and disinfected air is sent back to the toilet seat, and the controller controls the disinfection device to stop sterilization and disinfection after continuous circulation, sterilization and disinfection reach the set time; and bacteria or viruses in the closestool are reduced or prevented from overflowing.
