The invention discloses an open balcony drainage system capable of automatically clearing sundries. The open balcony drainage system comprises a work box and a first cavity located in the work box andprovided with an opening that faces upwards; a second cavity which is located in the lower side of the first cavity is fixedly arranged in the work box; a third cavity located in the lower side of the second cavity and penetrating up and down is fixedly formed in the work box; and a first filter plate capable of filtering the sundries in water is fixedly arranged in the second cavity. According to the drainage system capable of automatically clearing the sundries in rainwater, a water level detector can monitor the water level height in real time, and when the rainwater cannot be drained in asewer quickly due to too many sundries on the filter plate, the open balcony drainage system is temporarily closed; and the sundries on the filter plate are pushed by a push plate to a fourth cavityfor collection, so that the rainwater can be drained quickly by the filter plate to prevent the accumulation of the rainwater on a balcony, thereby prolonging the service life of the balcony to a certain extent.
