The invention discloses an ultralow-energy-consumption building external sunshade device which comprises a plurality of sunshade plates mounted on the surface of a building wall face and an adjustingmechanism for driving the sunshade plates to rotate according to illumination intensity. Two racks are symmetrically and fixedly mounted on the upper side and the lower side of the building wall face,and the upper ends and the lower ends of the sunshade plates are rotationally mounted on the two racks through two rotating shafts correspondingly. Second mounting grooves are formed in the racks, the rotating shafts extend into the second mounting grooves and are fixedly provided with rotating gears, a connecting gear is arranged between every two adjacent rotating gears, and the left side and the right side of each connecting gear are engaged with the two corresponding rotating gears; and the adjusting mechanism comprises a heat sensor for sensing sunlight heat and a driver for adjusting the rotation of the rotating gears. According to the ultralow-energy-consumption building external sunshade device, the characteristic that a thermal expansion material expands when heated or solar energy serves as driving power is adopted, power consumption of the sunshade device is greatly reduced, electric energy resources are saved, and meanwhile, environmental resources are protected to a certain extent.
