The invention provides a rotary vortex-induced vibration inhibiting device for a steel pipe member of a transmission tower. The vortex-induced vibration inhibiting device mounted outside the steel pipe member comprises two rolling lantern rings and a current disturbing wire. The two rolling lantern rings are mounted on the steel pipe member, and the inner and outer surfaces of the rolling lanternrings can rotate relatively. The current disturbing wire is spirally connected between the two rolling lantern rings. The device based on a basic principle of changing aerodynamic configuration inhibits aeolian vibration of the steel pipe member, and is clear in principle and high in practicality.

The invention provides a rotary vortex-induced vibration inhibiting device for a steel pipe member of a transmission tower. The vortex-induced vibration inhibiting device mounted outside the steel pipe member comprises two rolling lantern rings and a current disturbing wire. The two rolling lantern rings are mounted on the steel pipe member, and the inner and outer surfaces of the rolling lanternrings can rotate relatively.
