The invention belongs to the technical field of functional ceramic material manufacturing, and relates to a carbon fiber toughened silicon nitride ceramic composite material and a preparation processthereof. According to the material, silicon nitride serves as a matrix material, and the composite material further comprises carbon fiber, nickel, nickel silicide and silicon carbide. The composite ceramic material is prepared by adopting a hot pressing sintering method, wherein part of components are formed in the hot pressing sintering process, nickel serves as an auxiliary binding phase, and nickel silicide and silicon carbide serve as particle dispersion phases. The ceramic composite material has excellent crack resistance and toughness, and has a wide application prospect.
本发明属于功能陶瓷材料制造技术领域,涉及一种碳纤维增韧的氮化硅陶瓷复合材料及其制备工艺。该材料以氮化硅为基体材料,除基体材料外,复合材料的成分还包括碳纤维、镍、硅化镍、碳化硅。本发明的复合陶瓷材料采用热压烧结的方法制备,部分成分是在热压烧结过程中形成,其中,镍为辅助粘结相,硅化镍和碳化硅为颗粒弥散相。该陶瓷复合材料具有优异的抗崩裂强韧性,具有广阔的应用前景。
