The embodiment of the invention discloses a suspension type monorail. The suspension type monorail comprises track beams and a plurality of bridge piers; the multiple track beams are fixedly connectedto form continuous track beams, and a beam seam is formed between two adjacent continuous track beams; each bridge pier comprises a pier column, a cross beam located at the upper end of the pier column and two cross beam lug plates connected under the cross beam, and the two cross beam lug plates are arranged at intervals in the transverse direction of the suspension type monorail; bridge piers are arranged at the butt joint positions of every two adjacent track beams, the track beams are hung below the cross beam lug plates, two opposite ends of all continuous track beams are movably connected to the corresponding cross beam lug plates, and the ends, located in the same continuous track beam, of every two adjacent track beams are fixedly connected to the corresponding cross beam lug plates. According to the suspension type monorail disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the stability of the whole bridge structure is enhanced, and the train running comfort is improved to a certain extent.
