The invention provides an automatic rail collecting device, an operation tripper car and a long steel rail transport vehicle set. The automatic rail collecting device comprises a traveling vehicle, atelescopic arm installed on the traveling vehicle, a first rail collecting guide groove, a second rail collecting guide groove, an end trolley and a hoisting device, wherein the first rail collectingguide groove, the second rail collecting guide groove, the end trolley and the hoisting device are sequentially installed on the telescopic arm; the end trolley is used for walking on a line, and thehoisting device is used for hoisting a steel rail on the line and putting the steel rail into the end trolley; and the second rail collecting guide groove and the first rail collecting guide groove are used for conveying steel rails on the end trolley in the direction close to the traveling vehicle. The automatic rail collecting device, the operation tripper car and the long steel rail transport vehicle set realize mechanization and automation of rail collecting operation of the railway line.
