The invention discloses a water drainage device for a construction site. The water drainage device comprises a shell, a water storage chamber, a power generation chamber, a filter screen, a water drainage pump, a guide pipe, a fixed seat, a groove, a first waterwheel, a second waterwheel, a water suction pump, a valve, a rotary shaft, an electric generator, a rectifier and a storage battery. The water drainage pump is arranged on an area needing water draining, so that water is drained to the first waterwheel and the second waterwheel from a water drainage opening along the guide pipe; the potential energy of the water is converted into mechanical energy of the first waterwheel and the second waterwheel, so that the first waterwheel and the second waterwheel rotate to drive the rotary shaft connected with the electric generator to rotate, and the electric generator generates electricity; the rectifier converts AC generated by the electric generator into pulse DC, so that electricity generated by the electric generator is stored in the storage battery, the water drainage device can automatically supply power to the water drainage pump and an illuminating device, the waste water utilization ratio of the construction site is increased, and meanwhile, power consumption is reduced and the cost is saved.
