The building ceiling structure comprises a ceiling body formed by matching an end plate bodies, side plate bodies and a middle plate body which are in lap joint with each other, the building ceiling structure is characterized in that the upper surface of each end plate body is provided with inserting grooves communicating with three sides, the lower surface of each end plate body is provided with matching channels with semi-circular cross sections, one side of each side plate body is provided with a first lap joint plate matched with the inserting grooves in the end plate body, the lower surface of each side plate body is provided with a bottom supporting channel arranged in parallel with the matching channel, and the peripheral surface of the middle plate body is provided with second lap joint plates and support grooves which are matched with the inserting grooves and the first lap joint plates respectively. Compared with the prior art, the structure and the method have the beneficial effects that when the ceiling is installed, auxiliary equipment does not need to be used for hoisting all the time, all component board bodies can be moved manually and conveniently, after assembling and matching, a stable component structure is achieved, and meanwhile, the good sound insulation effect is achieved.
