The invention provides a channel with detection and disinfection functions and a detection and disinfection method. Air shower ports, air filtering equipment, a nozzle, a hand disinfection port, an infrared camera, a camera, ultraviolet germicidal lamps, a rear door and a front door are fixed by a channel main body; the air shower ports are located in the two sides of the channel body, and the airfiltering equipment provides filtered and disinfected air for the air shower ports. The nozzle is located above the channel body and sprays disinfectant fluid downwards. The hand disinfection port islocated in the channel main body and provides hand disinfection liquid for a user; the infrared camera is located in the channel body and detects the body surface temperature of a user through infrared rays. The camera is located in the channel body and used for obtaining image information by shooting. The ultraviolet germicidal lamps are positioned at the top and/or two sides of the channel mainbody and are used for performing ultraviolet disinfection inside the channel main body. According to the invention, body temperature measurement and antivirus operation can be automatically carried out on personnel, and the channel and method can be used for detection and antivirus during outbreak of infectious diseases.
