The invention relates to the technical field of refractory materials, in particular to a manufacturing method of a low-thermal-conductivity refractory castable, which comprises the following steps: crushing large raw materials into crushed materials having a size of 0.5-1cm by a jaw crusher, crushing the crushed materials by a cone crusher until the crushed materials pass through a 50-100-mesh sieve to obtain fine powder; weighing bauxite aggregate, brown fused alumina, white fused alumina, refractory cement, silicon powder and metal oxide in parts by weight, and mixing to obtain a mixture a;weighing glass fibers, asbestos, rock wool and silicate in parts by weight, and mixing to obtain a mixture b; putting the mixture a and the mixture b into a stirrer, uniformly mixing, adding water andan auxiliary agent in parts by weight, and mixing for 20-30 minutes; drying the treated material at 40 to 60 DEG C until the water content is 0.03 to 0.1 percent; and preparing the low-heat-conductivity refractory castable from the treated material in a stepped baking mode. The castable prepared by the method has good fire resistance, and maintains good pressure resistance and wear resistance.
