Bidirectional shearing damper
The invention relates to the technical field of buildings, in particular to a bidirectional shearing damper. The bidirectional shearing damper comprises a connecting assembly and an energy dissipationassembly, the connecting assembly comprises a first connecting plate and a second connecting plate which are oppositely arranged, two ends of the energy dissipation assembly in the extension direction are correspondingly connected with the first connecting plate and the second connecting plate, and the energy dissipation assembly comprises a first energy dissipation plate and a second energy dissipation plate which are perpendicularly connected with each other. The energy dissipation assembly translates horizontal shearing force into deformation force correspondingly applying to the first energy dissipation plate and the second energy dissipation plate, and the direction of the deformation force is located in a plane where the first energy dissipation plate and the second energy dissipation plate are located and is perpendicular to the extension direction of the energy dissipation assembly. The bidirectional shearing damper can work together with a main structure, can provide controllable rigidity and bearing capacity for the main structure under the bidirectional coupled shearing deformation of any angle, and meanwhile, bidirectional damping dissipation earthquake energy is formed through the yield deformation of the energy dissipation assembly.
