Shearing type STF damper
The invention provides a shearing type STF damper. The shearing type STF damper comprises an upper connecting plate, steel teeth, a steel sleeve, an upper cover, a baffle and a steel spacer. The steel sleeve is provided with a plurality of steel spacers, and a blocking door is welded to the steel sleeve and fixedly connected with the steel spacers. The steel teeth are provided with a plurality of tooth pieces and inserted into gaps of the steel spacers, baffles used for limiting the steel teeth are arranged on the upper portions of the steel spacers, and the baffles are fixedly connected with the steel sleeve. The upper cover is fixedly connected with the top end of the steel sleeve; the waist of the upper cover is provided with an open slot for the steel teeth to pass through; the steel teeth are in dry friction sliding fit connection with open slots, and the tops of the steel teeth are fixedly connected with the upper connecting plate. According to the shearing type STF damper, due to the fact that the flowing space of STF damping fluid is extremely small compared with the space occupied by the steel teeth, a large sliding speed can be generated, and STF can conveniently exert the shear thickening effect. Along with the increase of the shearing rate, the STF viscosity is rapidly increased, so that the impact resistance and vibration isolation of an engineering structure are realized. The damper has the advantages of being novel in structure and clear in construction, and is a safe and efficient damper.
