The invention discloses a garbage collection device of a cleaning vehicle. The garbage collection device comprises a garbage collection pipeline, a garbage conveying belt, a stepping motor and guide wheels, wherein the garbage conveying belt is arranged in the garbage collection pipeline, an inclined surface is fixed to one side of a lower end opening of the garbage collection pipeline, the garbage conveying belt comprises a crawler belt and unit collection grids, the crawler belt comprises a lower rotating shaft, an upper rotating shaft, crawler belt plates and crawler belt pins, the unit collection grids are fixed to outer sides of the crawler belt plates and correspond to the crawler belt plates one to one, the unit collection grids below the lower rotating shaft are always in a horizontal state and are aligned with the lower end openings, the length of the crawler belt plates is equal to the diameter of the lower rotating shaft, and a stepping motor is fixed on an inner wall of thegarbage collection pipeline and drives the upper rotating shaft to rotate. The garbage collection device is advantaged in that the guide wheels are fixed to an inner wall of the garbage collection pipeline, upper portions of crawler belts are bent by 95-100 degrees in the direction of the lower end opening, heavy garbage can be collected, practicability is high, and technical progress is achievedin the field.
