A production process of the autoclaved aerated concrete slabapplied to water treatment comprises the following steps: fixing activated carbon particles with the diameter of 2-4cm in a steel wire mesh, fixing the activated carbon particles in a mesh cage, putting the mesh cage into a mold, and then producing the autoclaved aerated concrete slab by virtue of an autoclaved aerated concrete slab production process. The autoclaved aerated concrete is a light, porous, energy-saving and environment-friendly material, the density of the autoclaved aerated concrete is smaller than 1, the autoclaved aerated concrete can float on the water surface, activated carbon particles are added into the autoclaved aerated concrete slab and placed on the water surface, and therefore the effects of adsorbing heavy metals in water and purifying water are achieved.
