The invention discloses a fabricated steel structure, and belongs to the technical field of steel structure fabricating. The fabricated steel structure comprises a square pipe and H-shaped steel fabricated on the square pipe; and fabricating fixing lugs are symmetrically arranged on the square pipe, connected with connecting pieces and connected with the H-shaped steel through the connecting pieces, and the H-shaped steel transmits shear force to the fabricating fixing lugs through the connecting pieces to achieve resultant force stress of the steel structure. The invention further provides afabricating method of the fabricated steel structure. According to the fabricated steel structure, the fabricating stability of the square pipe and the H-shaped steel is achieved, operation is easy, and using is convenient.
