The invention is applicable to the field of pet supplies, and particularly relates to a pocket type pet excrement pickup device which comprises a fixed structure which is used for limiting a garbage bag, and movably inserted into a bendable fixed arm in a penetrating manner; and an elastic winding device capable of providing elastic contraction force. The elastic winding device is arranged on thefixed arm and is connected with the fixed structure; the fixed structure can be adjusted and contracted by utilizing the elastic winding device and is limited by utilizing a limiting structure arranged on the elastic winding device; the garbage bag is limited on the fixed structure, the limiting structure is loosened, unbinding is completed, the fixed structure is limited, the fixed structure canbe adjusted and contracted through elastic contraction force of the elastic winding device, and the fixed structure contracts to store pet excrement into the bag, take down the garbage bag and throw the bag into the garbage can. The whole size is small, occupied space is saved, carrying is easy, and the bag can be placed; the operation mode is different from a traditional mode, and is convenient,efficient, clean and sanitary.
