The invention provides a construction method of a single-layer reticulated shell structure. The construction method of the single-layer reticulated shell structure is used for building the single-layer reticulated shell structure above a plurality of tower buildings and comprises the following steps: obtaining a mounting region of the single-layer reticulated shell structure and dividing the mounting region into a plurality of sub-regions according to the relative position between the mounting region and the tower buildings; setting different operating platforms according to existing structures in the sub-regions; and constructing a reticulated shell sub-structure by the operating platform of each sub-region and splicing the plurality of reticulated shell sub-structures into the single-layer reticulated shell structure. Through division of the mounting region of the single-layer reticulated shell structure, different operating platforms can be arranged by effectively utilizing the loadbearing strength of the existing structure, so that safe operating platforms can be provided for constructors and the mounting efficiency can be greatly improved.
