The invention relates to a sewage intercepting device for a box culvert, which is applied to a drainage system. The system comprises a box culvert, a drainage branch pipe connected along the box culvert, and a sewage intercepting pipeline for conveying sewage. The sewage intercepting device comprises a sewage intercepting body, the sewage intercepting body is provided with an inlet, a first outletand a second outlet, the inlet is used for communicating the drainage branch pipe with the sewage intercepting body, the first outlet is used for communicating the sewage intercepting body with the sewage intercepting pipeline, and the second outlet is used for communicating the sewage intercepting body with space in the box culvert; meanwhile, the first outlet is formed in the bottom of the sewage intercepting body and located above the sewage intercepting pipeline, and the second outlet is formed in the side portion or the top of the sewage intercepting body. When the sewage intercepting device for the box culvert is applied to the box culvert, the problem that rainwater and sewage in the box culvert are mixed can be solved, the workload of a sewage treatment plant is reduced, and natural water cannot be polluted.
