The invention discloses a non-contact type wash basin. The non-contact type wash basin comprises a wash basin body, an atomizing faucet fixed to the upper end of the wash basin body and a transfer water tank mounted at the lower end of the wash basin body, a clamping plate is fixedly connected to the upper end of the transfer water tank, a limiting groove with two sides penetrating is formed in the clamping plate, the limiting groove is sequentially subjected to left and right bending at equal distances from top to bottom, the limiting groove comprises multiple joints, the joints are subjectedto rounding treatment, a rolling cylinder is in rolling connection into the limiting groove, limiting rods are coaxially inserted to the two ends of the rolling cylinder, the ends, away from the rolling cylinder, of the limiting rods are in sliding connection with pedal plates, and pressing rods are fixedly connected to the lower ends of the pedal plates. The wash basin has the advantages that the pedal plates are tread by feet, the self gravity of the human body is used for serving as driving force, the pressing rods drive an extrusion plate to extrude water in the transfer water tank through a water outlet pipe and the atomizing faucet to be used, the manner of manual twisting the faucet is replaced, the non-contact operation is adopted, germ transfer is avoided, and the wash basin is sanitary and clean.
