The invention discloses a method for maintaining the water bottom of a swimming pool. The method comprises the following steps that a maintainer dives into the swimming pool, searches for a position to be maintained and knocks the position to be maintained to determine whether the position to be maintained is peeled off or aged or not; when a tile at the position to be maintained falls off, a markis arranged at the position to be maintained at the time; the tile and gravel at the position to be maintained are peeled off, and the peeled brick, crushed stone, fragment and gravel are removed; sawing is carried out on the edge of the position to be maintained; the size of the position to be maintained is measured, the amount of an adhesive is adjusted and matched, the edge and the bottom of the position to be maintained are fully coated with the adhesive, a ceramic tile is pasted on the surface of the adhesive, and knocking and polishing are carried out on the ceramic tile to enable the ceramic tile to be flush with surrounding ceramic tiles; and a small amount of sand and dust generated during maintaining is purified by using a water pumping filter. The method has the advantages thatmaintenance can be carried out without draining water in the swimming pool, water resources are saved, the environment is protected, time is saved, and cofferdams do not need to be built.
