The invention discloses a golden crystal glaze and a preparation method thereof. The glaze used for the golden crystal glaze comprises the following components in parts by mass: 20-25 parts of potassium feldspar, 10-17 parts of albite, 5-10 parts of calcite, 13-17 parts of spodumene, 13-17 parts of titanium oxide, 10-20 parts of iron oxide and 5-7 parts of barium carbonate. The golden crystal glaze is fired in a shuttle kiln, and the uniform temperature holding time of 1290 DEG C is 10 minutes in the firing process. The glaze surface of the golden crystal glaze is golden in color and luster and is spread all over the whole green body, so that the golden crystal glaze is more layered, the golden crystal glaze flashes under the irradiation of sunlight, and laminated iron-titanium crystals can be seen by naked eyes or observed by using a magnifying lens.
