The white glaze comprises the following chemical components: 51 to 53 parts of SiO2, 23.5 to 25 partsof Al2O3, 0 to 0.4 part of Fe2O3, 4.5 to 5.5 parts of CaO, 2 to 2.5 parts of MgO, 3 to 3.5 parts of K2O, 0.5 to 1 part of Na2O, 2.5 to 3.5 parts of ZnO, 0.01 part of TiO2, 4.5 to 5.5 parts of BaO and3.5 to 4.5 parts of SrO. The white glaze provided by the invention can solve the problems that the ideal whiteness can be obtained only by adding a large amount of brightening agent or opacifier intothe existing white glaze and the radioactivity is high due to the addition of the brightening agent or opacifier, and can also reduce the manufacturing cost of ceramic tiles.
