The graphite slag high-strength building brick is prepared from sintering-free graphite slag, analkaline inorganic cementing material, hydroxy propyl cellulose ether, redispersible latex powder and a colorant through the procedures of mixing, stirring, pressing, stacking, standing, laminating, curing and the like. On the premise of ensuring the high strength of the building brick, the mixing amount of the graphite slag is increased to the maximum extent, and production cost is reduced due tothe high mixing amount of the graphite slag; the produced building brick is high in strength and long in weather resistance; and resource recycling can be achieved when graphite solid waste is treated through the technical product, and the building brick is the largest hot spot of future development and the solid waste resource utilization industry which is good for a long time.
