The invention belongs to the technical field of bridge construction, and relates to a steel box arch bridge single arch rib framing swivel system and a construction method thereof. The system comprises a lower rotary disc located on a foundation, a horizontal swivel system fixedly installed on the lower rotary disc, an upper rotary disc rotationally installed on the horizontal swivel system and atraction system detachably connected with the upper rotary disc; a vertical rotating system comprises a vertical rotating hinge installed on the inner side of the upper rotating disc and used for fixing an arch rib to be assembled, a buckle cable installed on the outer side of the upper rotating disc, a buckle tower installed on the upper rotating disc and a rear anchor system fixedly installed onthe outer side of the upper rotating disc and used for balancing the upper rotating disc. The buckle cable comprises a lower buckle cable connected between the upper rotary disc and the buckle towerand an upper buckle cable connected between the buckle tower and the free end of the arch rib to be assembled, a plurality of balance cables are installed between the inner side of the upper portion of the buckle tower and the outer side of the upper rotary disc, the construction method guarantees the construction quality of the arch bridge, safety risks are reduced, construction is convenient, and the construction cost is reduced.
