The invention discloses an underpass energy-saving ship lock passing through an inland river limited bridge and a using method of the ship lock. The ship lock comprises an approach channel inlet, an upper lock head, a lock chamber, a lower lock head, an approach channel outlet and a water passing facility, the approach channel inlet is connected with the upper lock head, the upper lock head is connected with one end of the lock chamber, the other end of the lock chamber is connected with the lower lock head, the lower lock head is connected with one end of the approach channel outlet, and thewater passing facility is connected with the lock chamber. Compared with the prior art, functions of the ship lock are derived, the requirement that a ship passes through a target bridge in the lock chamber is met, the traditional treatment scheme that the elevation of the bottom of the bridge must be increased when the navigation clear height of the bridge is increased is broken through, a ton-level ship is planned to smoothly pass through the bridge without reconstruction conditions, and the bridge does not become a restricting factor for channel improvement and standard reaching any more.
