The invention discloses an explosion-proof glass window with a shading function. The explosion-proof glass window comprises a base, a sliding groove with an upward opening is formed in the base, a bottom block is slidably arranged in the sliding groove, and a slide-moving groove with an upward opening is formed in the bottom block. A glass window assembly is placed in the slide-moving groove, an outward rotating groove penetrating forward and backward is formed in the front side inner wall of the sliding groove in a communicating mode, and a limiting groove is formed in the left side inner wall of the sliding groove. A limiting block is slidably arranged in the limiting groove, a push spring is fixedly connected between the left side end surface of the limiting block and the left side inner wall of the limiting groove, and a swing rotating groove with an outward opening is formed in the limiting block. The left end of the bottom block extends into the swing rotating groove and is rotatably connected with the lower side inner wall of the swing rotating groove. The explosion-proof glass window with the shading function is designed to replace curtains for changing the light transmittance of glass windows.
