The invention discloses a high-speed railway expansive soil embankment structure and a construction method thereof. The embankment structure comprises a fill structure, a pile structure and a top plate structure, the fill structure is filled above a foundation, the pile structure penetrates through the fill structure, the top of the pile structure extends out of the fill structure, the top plate structure is located at the top of the fill structure and is fixedly connected with the top of the pile structure, and the bottom of the top plate structure is attached to the top of the fill structure. The pile structure and the top plate structure form a supporting foundation of the railway track structure, so the stress state of the top plate structure in surface contact is obviously better thanthe suspended stress state of a traditional foundation pile plate structure; the pile plate structure deforms through the friction effect of piles and soil, so the deformation time is short, and settlement deformation can be rapidly completed till stabilization; the pile-loading capacity applied by a railway track structure and a train load weight is smaller than the pile-preloading weight, so the embankment structure can meet the deformation control requirement of a high-speed railway, and meanwhile engineering investment can be reduced.
