The invention discloses an expansive soil field terrace embankment filling structure. The structure comprises an expansive soil filling main body, a bottom stabilizing layer, a slope stabilizing layerand an upper stabilizing layer. The bottom stabilizing layer, the slope stabilizing layer and the upper stabilizing layer are arranged at a bottom, a side part and a top of the expansive soil fillingmain body; a bottom water isolating and draining layer is arranged between a top surface of the bottom stabilizing layer and a bottom surface of the expansive soil filling main body; and an upper water isolation and drainage layer is arranged between the top surface of the expansive soil filling main body and the bottom surface of the upper stabilizing layer, and a slope middle water seepage anddrainage cushion layer is arranged in the expansive soil filling main body. The invention further discloses a construction method of the expansive soil field terrace embankment filling structure. By means of water isolation and drainage, composite reinforcement and the like, the terrace embankment filled with expansive soil can meet a quality requirement after construction, expansive soil improvement treatment cost can be greatly reduced, and purposes of a reasonable technology and economical cost are achieved.
