The portable profile steel overhanging protection platform comprises outer frame connecting joints (1), overhanging outer frame rods (2), a steel wire rope (4), first positioning pieces (5) and second positioning pieces (6); the four overhanging outer frame rods are connected with the cross-shaped outer frame connecting joints to form a protection platform frame body (10), the steel wire rope penetrates through the overhanging outer frame rods through steel wire rope penetrating holes (21) and is tied among the four overhanging outer frame rods in a rectangular annular structure, two of the overhanging outer frame rods are installed on an outer scaffold outer cross rod (8) through two first positioning pieces, and the other two of the overhanging outer frame rods are tied to a building structure main body through two second positioning pieces by means of ropes (9), so that the protection platform frame body (10) is horizontally or obliquely overhung on the outer side of the building structure main body. The device can be stretched to be unfolded or folded, is convenient to transport, hoist and install, and can be conveniently and rapidly installed on the outer side of a high-rise and super high-rise building structure main body, the construction efficiency is improved, and the construction risk isreduced.
