The invention discloses a climbing type construction operation platform outside a building. The climbing type construction operation platform comprises an operation table and a lifting table; the lifting table is fixedly installed on the side edge of the operation table, two mounting frames are symmetrically arranged on the upper side and the lower side of the lifting table, a first screw rod is rotationally installed between the two mounting frames, the first screw rod is in threaded connection with a first threaded sleeve, and the first threaded sleeve is rotationally connected with the lifting table; a guide rod is further fixedly installed between the two mounting frames, and the lifting table is in sliding connection with the guide rod; and a main clamping mechanism is mounted on theside, close to the building, of the lifting table, and an auxiliary clamping mechanism is mounted on the side, close to the building, of the mounting frame. The first screw rod is rotated to drive thelifting table and the operation table to move up and down, so that the operation table climbs outside the building, after the operation table climbs, the first screw sleeve is driven by a rotating motor to rotate, the first screw rod is driven to move upwards, the lifting table climbs in the next period, and the lifting capacity of the operation table is improved.
