The invention discloses a test device for a ship lift chamber of a vertical ship lift. The test device comprises a supporting base, a lifting system, a ship lift chamber system and a measuring system,wherein the supporting base is used for supporting and mounting the lifting system and the ship lift chamber system, so that space is provided for operation; the lifting system is driven by a variable-speed motor, so that a variable-speed lifting process of the ship lift chamber can be simulated; the lifting system is connected to a ship lift chamber system through an electromagnet; the electromagnet can be interrupted to demagnetize, so that an unexpected rope breakage condition can be simulated; water drainage holes are formed in the chamber bottom and the peripheral chamber walls of the ship lift chamber, and the tail ends of the water drainage holes are provided with pressure relief valves, so that a water leakage working condition of the ship lift chamber can be simulated by openingthe pressure relief valves. The test device can effectively simulate dynamic response, under complex working conditions such as a variable-speed lifting working condition, a rope breakage condition and a water leakage working condition of the ship lift chamber, provides reference for design of a ship lift chamber safety mechanism, and guarantees operation safety, in practical engineering, of the ship lift chamber.
