The invention discloses an excavator environment monitoring system and an excavator, and relates to the technical field of excavators. The excavator environment monitoring system comprises a controller, a shooting device, a first induction device and a display device, wherein the shooting device is arranged on a body of the excavator and electrically connected with the display device; the displaydevice is arranged in a cab of the excavator and is used for displaying the shooting condition of the shooting device; the controller is electrically connected with the shooting device and the first induction device; and the first induction device is arranged on an operating lever of the excavator and is used for sending different first induction signals to the controller according to different actions of the operating lever, so that the controller controls the shooting device to correspondingly rotate to different angle positions. According to the excavator environment monitoring system provided by the invention, the environment condition of the direction required by an operator can be fed back to the operator in the form of an image according to the walking state of the excavator, and visual field guarantee is provided for the operator, so that smooth construction is facilitated.
