The invention provides a frost damage prevention method and device. A water storage device is arranged in the frost damage prevention device, a water storage cavity is formed in the device. the methodcomprises the steps that an elastic material layer is pasted on the inside of the water storage cavity of the water storage device. The elastic material layer is used for providing an elastic space for volume expansion when liquid freezes so as to prevent the situation that the water storage cavity is burst caused by volume expansion due to the fact that the liquid in the water storage cavity freezes, and the water storage device is prevented from being frozen.
