The invention discloses a solar street lamp for sponge city construction. The solar street lamp comprises a water seepage pavement, an earth-rock mixing layer located below the water seepage pavement,a concrete layer located below the earth-rock mixing layer and a foundation soil layer located below the concrete layer. A vertically upward lamp post is inserted into the concrete layer; the interior of the lamp post is hollow, and a solar panel and a street lamp body are installed at the top end of the lamp post. And a mounting base is further fixedly arranged on the side wall of the upper endof the lamp post, an obliquely-arranged drainage groove is formed in the mounting base, the lower end of the drainage groove communicates with the interior of the lamp post, and a first rotating shaftis rotatably connected to the inner side wall of the drainage groove. The solar street lamp has the advantages that a special drainage line is arranged by utilizing the characteristic that the lamp post of the solar street lamp goes deep into the ground surface, so that the rainwater permeation and collection process is accelerated; and the storage battery in the solar panel is used for storing electric energy converted from potential energy when rainwater flows, so that the solar street lamp is more energy-saving and environment-friendly, and is more convenient to use.
