The excavator rotation control methodcomprises the following steps of acquiring a working state of a bucket arm cylinder; if the bucket arm cylinder is in a state of driving a bucket arm of the excavator to perform unloading, acquiringa working state of a rotary motor; and if the rotary motor drives the excavator to rotate, communicating a working oil path of the rotary motor with a rod cavity of the bucket arm cylinder in order tomake hydraulic oil in the working oil path flow to the rod cavity under the action of the rotary potential energy of the excavator and drive the bucket arm to perform unloading. According to the excavator rotation control method, the rotary potential energy of the excavator can be recycled when the excavator is rotary and the bucket arm of the excavator is unloaded, and the recycled rotary potential energy is transferred to the bucket arm in a hydraulic energy manner and is used as an auxiliary power source to drive the bucket arm to perform unloading in order to reduce the energy consumptionand the use cost of the excavator.
