The invention discloses an epoxy asphalt mastic macadam mixture suitable for an airfield pavement and a preparation method thereof. The mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts bymass: 0.7 to 2.1 parts of epoxy resin, 0.5 to 1.9 parts of curing component, 2.9 to 7.9 parts of SBS modified asphalt, 100 to 150 parts of mineral aggregate and 0.3 to 0.6 part of fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preheating SBS modified asphalt, adding the preheated SBS modified asphalt into preheated coarse aggregate and fine aggregate determined according to design gradation, adding uniformly mixed epoxy resin and curing component, stirring, finally adding fibers and mineral powder, and stirring. By utilizing the characteristics of high strength, excellent waterdamage resistance, excellent aging resistance and the like of the epoxy asphalt, the prepared epoxy asphalt mastic macadam mixture suitable for the airfield pavement has good strength and durability so that the airfield pavement has good wear resistance, and the risk of wheel track diseases of the asphalt pavement is reduced. The preparation method is simple, energy-saving and environment-friendly, and has relatively high social value and economic value.
