The asphalt macadam mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60 to 70 parts of light-colored asphalt cement, 70 to 80 parts of light-colored aggregate and 10 to 15 parts of anti-ultraviolet modified inorganic pigment, the uvioresistant modified inorganic pigment is obtained by modifying an inorganic pigment with epoxy resin, 4, 4 '-diaminodiphenyl sulfone and titanium dioxide; the preparation method comprises the following steps: heating the light-colored asphalt cement to 160-170 DEG C while stirring, adding the rest raw materials while stirring, and continuously stirring for 5-10 minutes at the temperature of 160-170 DEG C to obtain the asphalt macadam mixture. The asphalt macadam mixture has the advantage of improving the color durability of the asphalt macadam mixture.
