The damping energy dissipation device comprises an arc-shaped damping rod and a T-shaped limiting head which are arranged in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction. The limiting device comprises a first limiting seat and a second limiting seat, the first limiting seat comprises a bottom plate and a surrounding plate, and a clamping groove is formed in the edge, facing the second limiting seat, of the bottom plate; the top of the surrounding plate is fixedly connected with the bottom surface of the upper plate; the lower end of each damping rod is hinged with the lower plate; the T-shaped limiting head comprisesa head part and a neck part vertically and fixedly connected with the head part; the neck part is arranged in an area between the clamping groove of the first limiting seat and the clamping groove ofthe second limiting seat; the head part is arranged in an area between the surrounding plate of the first limiting seat and the surrounding plate of the second limiting seat;and a gap is formed between the head part and the surrounding plate. Transverse and longitudinal constraints can be established at the same time, the energy dissipation effect can be achieved in the longitudinal direction andthe transverse direction of the bridge body at the same time, and then the bridge structure is more effectively protected against earthquake damage.
