The invention relates to a gravity balance rotary ship lift. The ship lift comprises a ship lift left side supporting frame and a ship lift right side supporting frame. A ship lift main body rotatingsupport rotating shaft is transversely arranged between the ship lift left side support frame and the ship lift right side support frame, the ship lift main body is arranged by taking the ship lift main body rotating support rotating shaft as a center, and the ship lift main body comprises a ship lift first main body panel and a ship lift second main body panel which are arranged in a bilateral symmetry manner; upper and lower overhanging ends of the ship lift first main body panel and the ship lift second main body panel are symmetrically provided with a ship lift ship reception chamber upperrotary support shaft and a ship lift ship reception chamber lower rotary support shaft; an upper ship reception chamber is hinged to an upper ship reception chamber rotating support shaft of the shiplift, and a lower ship reception chamber is hinged to the lower ship reception chamber rotating support shaft of the ship lift; and the upper ship reception chamber and the lower ship reception chamber are arranged in an equal-weight mode, and power equipment is arranged on a ship lift left side supporting frame or a ship lift right side supporting frame to drive the ship lift main body to rotateto support the rotating shaft to rotate.
